Tree Preservation Orders and Japanese Knotweed

In London, on the site of an abandoned former Care facility, ECS has found cost-effective solutions to enable the client to proceed with an important development project that has protected trees close to Japanese knotweed infestation.

ECS designed a solution to remove Japanese knotweed without damaging trees that are subject to Tree Preservation Orders. The Japanese knotweed contaminated soil was carefully excavated with all tree roots protected, whilst all remaining Japanese knotweed will be eradicated by ECS’s proven herbicidal eradication methodology.

ECS will also eradiate Japanese knotweed on adjoining residential properties enabling the neighbourhood to become Japanese knotweed free.
